Alright, Week 8, Dallas, Texas. Number 23 SMU hosting a Cal team that just got run out of the building 41-7 by Wake Forest. This one feels like a problem for the Bears.

Cal falls to Wake Forest by 34 points and now they walk into Gerald J. Ford Stadium against a ranked SMU squad. The Mustangs just jumped to number 23, Kevin Jennings has 16 touchdown passes on the season, and Kendrick Raphael is grinding out over 90 yards a game on the ground. This is a program on the rise.

Nobody wants you to know this, but Cal actually beat SMU 38-35 the last time these two met in 2025. The series is tied one to one, and the Bears have a pulse, people.
