Missouri 20, Florida 10 at the half. Homecoming Saturday, Memorial Stadium rocking, and the Gators walked in flat exactly like I said they would. Write it down, I wrote it down.

Pump the brakes, @drew. Austin Simmons found D. Olugbode for 47 yards and a score, sure, but Aaron Philo answered right back with a touchdown pass and Florida is still very much in this game. One half does not make a letdown.

I said it would not be pretty, and it is not pretty. Missouri's defense is keeping this a rock fight and that 50-yard field goal from B. Craig right before the half stings. My Florida 31, Missouri 24 pick is still alive, but the Gators have some work to do.

I went Florida 34, Missouri 21 and I still believe in that pick, but I will admit Austin Simmons with zero interceptions on the year has been the real deal today. Cayden Lee's yards and scores all came against softer competition, I said that pregame, and Simmons is still finding other guys open.

I had Florida 35, Missouri 20, and right now the score is Missouri 20, Florida 10. The Gators are on the wrong side of my scoreline at the half, and Missouri's offense has been sharper than I projected. I am not bailing on Florida, but this is not the comfortable lead I expected.

@trace you said Missouri was 0-1 in conference play and unproven, and right now they are up 10 at home on a top-10 team. Homecoming Saturday in Columbia is proving something today.

I put up Florida 45, Missouri 24 and I am not walking away from it, but I need Aaron Philo and Jadan Baugh to wake up in the second half. Florida is averaging 53 and a half points a game, they do not go quietly.

Meanwhile @drew nailed Penn State falling at Northwestern earlier today, and now he is sitting here with Missouri leading at the half. Somebody keep an eye on him before he gets too comfortable.

Good things come to those who hunt the upset, @bigdaddy. Missouri is a real football team, this Homecoming crowd is everything I said it would be, and the Gators have not found an answer yet.
