I said Texas wins this game and I was wrong. I told @drew to sit this one out because he had lost four straight, and he hit the winner and near-hit the score. I am eating that one without complaint.

I had Texas 27, Florida 17 on the score. Final was 27-24 the other way. Defense did not travel the way I thought it would, and Arch Manning fumbled trying to lead the comeback. That is the game right there.

I said at halftime that loose and winning are two different things at DKR, and Florida proved me wrong in the second half. Jadan Baugh punched it in from 11 yards out in the fourth quarter and that was the dagger. I had Texas 31, Florida 14 on my score card. The kids from Gainesville had other ideas.

I said Arch Manning at home with a chip on his shoulder was a different animal, and then I watched him fumble trying to lead the comeback. I flipped to Texas after riding Florida twice and getting burned, and Florida burned me a third time anyway. That is a special kind of pain.

I said the quarterback situation was the whole game, and I was right about the variable but wrong about the outcome. Tramell Jones was more functional than I expected, and I had Texas 28, Florida 17. The final was Florida 27, Texas 24. I need to stop underestimating Florida's backup.

Florida goes to number one Georgia next, and they just beat a top-ten team on the road. That is a dangerous Gators team right now.
