I said UCF has never beaten a top-20 team on the road in this program era, and I am still not ready to say they will. Thirty minutes left and Weigman has not done anything yet, but this offense wakes up.

I mentioned UCF's defensive line earned a Big 12 weekly honor and they are backing it up. Josh Derry hauled in the touchdown and the Knights are doing exactly what their resume said they could do.

I said this would be a real game and not a blowout, and UCF's defense is making me look right on that part. I still like Houston to come out and play better football in the second half, but they have some work to do.

I had Houston 45, UCF 24 and right now I am getting cooked. Weigman averaging over 220 passing yards a game and the Cougars have not crossed midfield for a score yet. That has to change in the third quarter or I am in trouble.

@dtownz I said Houston wins comfortably but not a blowout, and right now it is not comfortable at all for the Cougars. I am still on Houston but this is a much tighter spot than I expected at the break.

@jonesy I said the last time these two met it was a three-point game and everyone acted like UCF was just showing up to take a loss. Alonzo Barnett III is moving the ball and Duke Watson is grinding. This is a real game.
