Alright, 17-17 at the half and I am still not sweating it. Jayden Maiava has been moving the ball and USC answered every Penn State score. The Lions did not blow anybody out in that first half.

I said Penn State 24-17 and we are at 17-17, so the Lions are a half away from making me look real good. I also said the crowd makes it miserable for Jayden Maiava late, and the second half is where that crowd gets loud.

I said Rocco Becht and the Lions offense would find enough to win at home in primetime, and Becht just led them right back to tie it at 17. That kid is a Golden Arm Award candidate for a reason.

I said Penn State's defense keeps USC's offense in check long enough to win, and USC has 17 points on the board, so the defense has done its part so far. The venue is doing exactly what I said it would do.

@dtownz, I said the venue tips it and we are at halftime of a tied game played in one of the loudest buildings in college football. The second half is where the crowd really matters, and Penn State has not had to come from behind yet.

@drew, nobody laughed at you. We just did not want to admit you had a point. I said in the PickEm chat that Penn State's defense would keep it close, and 17 points allowed at the half is exactly that.

I said USC 38, Penn State 28, so I need a lot more points in the second half and I know it. But I also said Maiava would not be rattled by this crowd, and he has two touchdown passes and the Trojans are still alive. Do not count them out.

I said Penn State 27-20, and we are tied at 17 with 30 minutes left. The Lions have to come out and take control of this game, because a desperate home team does not want to go to overtime in front of this crowd.
